Our Farm

Bhunaga Worm Farm was founded by Prathamesh Karandikar, Ph.D., and Emma Brent, a husband-and-wife team united by a shared love of living soil and the quiet craft of nurturing plants.

Prathamesh, a chemical engineer with a doctorate and a lifelong curiosity for natural systems, serves as Chief Scientist and Co-Owner. His work brings scientific precision to an old-world practice, ensuring every batch of aerated compost tea is brewed with intention, integrity, and a deep respect for the biology that sustains healthy soil.

Emma, an avid plant lover and hobby gardener, is the heart of Bhunaga’s daily rhythm. As Chief of Operations and Co-Owner, she keeps the farm grounded in its purpose: helping fellow plant enthusiasts tend to their soil with simple rituals that lead to abundant growth.

Together, they created Bhunaga as a place where tradition meets thoughtful science — a small farm devoted to the living soil beneath every thriving plant.

Our mission

Our farm is small, deliberate, and dedicated. We brew our aerated compost tea in limited batches to ensure freshness and produce the high quality, microbially-rich tea your plants love.

Nothing is rushed. Nothing is artificial.

Everything is grown, harvested, and brewed with respect for the living soil.
